SAN DIEGO – August 30, 2013 – With school back in full swing, time-stressed parents are getting a break on Mondays thanks to Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes’ Kids Eat Free promotion. Throughout September, one free kids meal for children 12 and under is included with each purchase of a full-price adult meal on Mondays. The promotion is being supported with advertising, social media, direct mail and in-restaurant merchandising.

“With the kids back in school, we wanted to make it easy for busy parents to take a night off from cooking to enjoy our fresh, delicious foods,” said Tammy Bailey, Chief Marketing Officer for Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes’ parent Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. “It’s an easy way for families to connect and recharge after a day at school.”

The special Mondays offer, which is being offered at all Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes locations across the U.S. (excluding Express), does not require a beverage purchase or coupon.
