A note to say thank you for your support during the Million Can Crusade.  With the help of Sweet Tomatoes we blew away our Million Can goal by hundreds of thousands!  KNIX FM in Phoenix collected over 1.4 million cans for St. Vincent De Paul and we couldn’t have done it without you!

St. Vincent De Paul estimates that with the 4 stores they will pick up from in Arizona  (Arrowhead, Scottsdale, Desert Ridge and Metro Center) Sweet Tomatoes helped collect over 100 lbs of food.

The VERY cool thing was that during our KNIX Million Can Stop at the Metro Center location, a listener  came by and dropped off a check for $2,000!  That equals 20,000 cans!

Thank you so much again for participating!

Can I please get the recipe for the new sweet and tangy lemon broccoli madness. I would love to make it for my hubby and the rest of the firemen at the station!!!

My husband and I eat at the Bernal Rd Sweet tomatoes in San Jose every Thurs evening. Last night I was in heaven because two of my all time favorites were on the menu – Albondingas Locas soup and Lemon Cream Pasta w/Capers. Yummmmmmmmmmmm! Any chance I could get the recipes? Have made your Lemonade salad many times in between menu changes.

That is the best thing about Guest Favorites, we have your favorites every week during February.

We will put your request for these two recipes with Chef Mike and see if he can post them. We post a recipe each week on our blog. Stay tuned and check out some of the others Chef Mike has posted.

I would also really love the sweet and tangy lemon broccoli madness recipe! I eat there once a week and this is definitely one of the best things I’ve had.
