Stars of Summer is Shining with Strawberries in June’s Menu

Summer calls for summer flavors! June is starting to shine with this popular red star favorite-strawberries! Strawberry fans, you will be happy to taste the sweetness all month long!

Start your strawberry bliss with the popular Strawberry Fields w/ Caramelized Walnuts salad made up of spring and Romaine lettuce mix tossed with raisins, carrots, and red onions in a delicious vinaigrette. Walnuts are a superfood and are one of the few rich sources of plant-derived omega-3 fatty acids. And strawberries are packed with essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients.

Also, on the tossed prepared salads menu are Caesar Asiago, Joan’s Veggie Slaw, Arugula Citrus, Citrus Penne, Poppy Seed Cole Slaw, Provencal Green Bean & Potato Salad, and Red, White, & Blue Potato Salad w/ Bacon. Citrus? Did somebody say citrus? Another star of summer is lemons! Enjoy the Lemon Broccoli prepared salad and the Lemon Greek Cavatappi pasta.

Start this special month by creating your own level of spiciness with the SriraCha-Cha Carrot Soup! Carrots are tossed with Sriracha sauce before being roasted and then into a yummy creamy soup. Turn up the spicy meter by adding more Sriracha sauce or Cha-Cha Chili Sauce, and then top it off with Cha-Cha Crumbles. Other flavorful soups include Chesapeake Corn Chowder with Bacon, Asian Ginger Broth, Famously French Onion, Seven Vegetable, and Creamy Cauliflower & Cheese.

Walking by the bakery, you will smell the fresh baked goods such as Strawberry Muffin, Pineapple Carrot Muffin, BBQ Chicken Focaccia, Chocolate Lava Cake, and more.

The gluten free coconut muffins were the best yet, we hope to have them back soon. And a few of my cousin workers agree that the bbq chicken flat bread is a little dry , may need a bit more sauce or cooked less . Other than that everything is good. Andriving the porter ranchor location is great!!

I always miss your gluten free muffins when there’s an “off” month. My toddler daughter looooves Sweet Tomatoes and I always have but went GF due to an allergy 5 years ago and I don’t know what you guys do to your GF muffins to make them so incredible but they taste almost like cake! I wish you could have them all the time! We go almost every week.

Wanted to thank two of the Alhambra, CA, staff Sandra and Stephanie for the great service while we were getting our salads, they had run out of the new salad with strawberries and walnuts, she immediately filled up the bowl and gave each of us a few more strawberries, we felt so good and because when we got to this salad the customers before us had taken them all. Thank you so much for serving us a few extra!!! You both rock that’s all I have to say!!
